"When Spinal Flow entered my life — with its gentleness, its trust in the body's own wisdom, its refusal to force anything — I knew I had found the foundation of something I wanted to build. So I built Aloha"

About Bonnie
I didn't come into this work from theory. I came into it through lived experience.
Like many of the people who find their way to Aloha, I know what it feels like to be navigating a full life while trying to hold everything together. Years of working in a demanding environment, supporting family members through health and emotional challenges, managing my own stress load, and doing it all while quietly wondering if there was a better way to move through it all.
That search led me somewhere I didn't expect.
It started with essential oils and nature-based practices, small shifts that opened a door I didn't know was there. From there, I was drawn deeper into nervous system work, into modalities that worked with the body's intelligence rather than overriding it. When conventional approaches weren't shifting things quickly enough for someone I loved, I went looking for something that could support regulation at a deeper level. That search brought me to Quantum Sound Therapy, and something began to change.
The EES had first come onto my radar years earlier, at a conference I attended through my work in education. I didn't fully understand it at the time. But when I encountered Dr. Sandra Rose Michael's work again years later, something clicked very differently. And when Spinal Flow entered my life — with its gentleness, its trust in the body's own wisdom, its refusal to force anything — I knew I had found the foundation of something I wanted to build.
So I built Aloha.
What shifted for me since starting this work?
The biggest change has been learning to trust the intelligence of my own body.
Before this work, life felt like a constant state of holding - mentally, emotionally, physically. There was always something to manage, something to anticipate, something to hold in place.
Now there is spaciousness where there used to be tension. Things feel less reactive, more grounded. I still have a full life - but I move through it from a very different internal baseline. There is an ease in not needing to force outcomes, in focusing instead on creating the right conditions and allowing things to unfold from there.
That shift is what I want for every person who walks through the door at Aloha.
Why Aloha?
Aloha, to me, is about remembrance.
It reflects the idea of oneness of breath - the understanding that we are not separate from ourselves, our bodies, or the world around us. Every time I visit Hawaii, there is a feeling that arrives almost immediately - something familiar, grounding, and quietly regulating. The system just settles. That feeling is what I wanted to create here.
I chose the name because it represents what Aloha is at its core: a space where people can soften, slow down, and come back into themselves without pressure or performance. A space that feels, from the moment you arrive, like somewhere you already belong.
The name also felt like a natural way to honour Dr. Sandra Rose Michael, whose work has been a meaningful influence in how I understand coherence, frequency, and the body's remarkable capacity to restore itself.
What I believe?
I believe the body is intelligent. Profoundly so.
My role is not to fix anyone. It is to help create the conditions where your system can do what it already knows how to do - regulate, restore, and return to ease. Everything at Aloha is designed with that in mind. From the environment to the modalities to the way you're welcomed when you arrive, the intention is always the same: remove the pressure, not add to it.
You don't need to know what you're doing here. You don't need to have the right experience or the right expectations. You just need to arrive.
Everything else, your body already knows.
Training & Practice.
Bonnie is a certified Spinal Flow practitioner and Usui Reiki Level 3 practitioner. Her work is further informed by advanced essential oil application techniques, Quantum Sound Therapy, and extensive experience with frequency-supported and EES coherence environments. Over time her practice has become a synthesis of these modalities — focused less on technique and more on supporting the nervous system to return to regulation, coherence, and ease
